6 ukulele chords used in "Boys Don’t Cry" by The Cure: A, Bm, Dbm, D, E and Gbm7

Actually, -2 is the easiest way
strumming pattern is UU DD DU
Thank you for this one! It’s my favorite song, 🙂
I play the D chord adding the fifth fret on the top string instead of open and it sounds much fuller to me.
You could use a fast island strum just make sure you change notes on words so you could do am ddu then G udu
-2, Em instead of Em7
Hi! Good cover! I was playing this and I thought that an F#m also fits, instead of the Dbm. I sorta mixed and matched. I also just did D instead that Gbm7. 😀 Will be playing this a lot!
on -2 it sounds a little better if you play a D instead of a Dbm
-4
play as:
a: g-2, c-1, e-0, a-0
bm: g-4, c-2, e-2, a-2
dbm/c#m: g-6, c-4, e-4, a-4
d: g-7, c-6, e-5, a-5
strumming is either dduudu or just dduud
What does the intro mean ?? I’ve been playing ukulele for years but I’m self taught and actually know nothing other than how to play simpler songs
I use -2 and UU-DUD
