And it’s not that easy as you’ll all think.
Strumming in my interpretation for (almost) each line. Each chord is separated:
DDU|DDU|DUD|UUDU
Verses
1st, 3th and 4th line DDU – DDU – DUD – UUDU
2nd line DDU DDU – DUD – UUDU (2x F)
Chorus
1st, 2nd and 3th line DDU – DDU – DUD – UUDU
!!EXEPT at the Gsus4 (love) and G (you).
You strum each chord once up!!
4th line F DDU – C DDU – F DDU – C- DDU –
Gsus4 DDUUDU – Am DD (slow)

For those of you wondering, for the strumming pattern I just do one down stroke for each of the chords. I think it sounds more dramatic that way. Hope it helps. 🙂
For the first three lines, it sounds really good if you slowly pick each string . Also use it on ‘like a rainbow’
I’m pretty sure it’s “I see your true colors” as she’s does, not “I’ll see…” like she thinks she will.
Also the second verse isn’t just “whispers” it’s “show me a smile then, don’t be unhappy can’t remember when I last saw you laughing…”

I like using Gsus4, c, e7, am at the ending….

It needs the chords all the way through. It takes away from the song when you have to stop to keep scrolling up and down
