remember keys
C G Am Em
Two birds on a wire
F G F
One tries to fly away
        G
And the other
C G
Watches him close
          Am Em
From that wire
F G
He says he wants to as well
F G
But he is a liar

C G
I'll believe it all
        Am Em G
There's nothing I won't understand
C G
I'll believe it all
  Am Em G
I won't let go of your hand

C G Am Em
Two birds on a wire
F G
One says come on
F
And the other says
G
I'm tired
C G
The sky is overcast
        Am Em
And I'm silent
F G
One more or one less
F G
Nobody's worried

C G
I'll believe it all
Am Em G
There's nothing I won't understand
C G
I'll believe it all
Am Em G
I won't let go of your hand

C G Am Em
Two birds of a feather
F G
Say that they're always
F G
Gonna stay together
C G
But one's never goin' to
    Am Em
Let go of that wire
F G
He says that he will
F G
But he's just a liar

C E Am E
Two birds on a wire
F G F
One tries to fly away
        G
And the other
C E
Watches him close
          Am E
From that wire
F G
He says he wants to as well
F G
But he is a liar

C G Am Em
Two birds on a wire
F G F
One tries to fly away
         G
And the other

is it possible to correct the lyric “and I’m silent” to “and I’m sorry”? Just wondering. Love this tab, very helpful and I’m playing this song at my school talent show!

thewindsofsong

e7 works well in place of the e cord for this song

Logan

If you have small hands like mine you can replace E with E7

Jazzu

So, the strumming pattern of this, or at lest what I use, is d-du-udu

A_Kale0w0

-7 sounds nice for beginners … like me.

Idk

You can substitute the E chord for E7 it’s a lot easier and it sounds gr8

Extremely confused

If u want a substitute for e, E7 sounds way better

Small Ukulele

Strum pattern anyone?

Oof

D D UDU

hi all!! if you like me were irked by the lack of progression on the all of the chorus you can get that effect by muting the a string and strumming open strings, so the i believe it all lines chords would be c g open strings.

Lily

OH MA GOD this sounds SO pretty if you transpose -2!!
