remember keys
C G Am Em
Two birds on a wire
F G F
One tries to fly away

C G
Watches him close
          Am Em
From that wire
F G
He says he wants to as well
F G
But he is a liar

C G
I'll believe it all

There's nothing I won't understand

But one's never goin' to
    Am Em

hi all!! if you like me were irked by the lack of progression on the all of the chorus you can get that effect by muting the a string and strumming open strings, so the i believe it all lines chords would be c g open strings.

  2. thewindsofsong

e7 works well in place of the e cord for this song

  3. A_Kale0w0

-7 sounds nice for beginners … like me.

  4. OH MA GOD this sounds SO pretty if you transpose -2!!

  5. -2 sound ok and it’s great for beginners!:)

  6. You can substitute the E chord for E7 it’s a lot easier and it sounds gr8

  7. wait it is but briefly so you can probably just skip over it ( I’m a beginner and teaching myself so I do that super often. oops.)

  8. Addict With A Fanfiction

The E chord isn’t actually used in the song, so there shouldn’t be any difficulty.

  9. Is there anything to substitute the E chord with?

    • I don’t know anything to substitute the E with but if you need an easier way to play it the alternative way to play an E major chord is 2nd fret bottom string with the pointer finger, and the top three strings of the 4th fret with the ring finger, sorry if that was a confusing explanation but hopefully it was somewhat helpful :)

E7 works well, imo it actually sounds better

  10. So, the strumming pattern of this, or at lest what I use, is d-du-udu

    Great Tab

  12. is it possible to correct the lyric “and I’m silent” to “and I’m sorry”? Just wondering. Love this tab, very helpful and I’m playing this song at my school talent show!

  13. UkuleleFlower

The lyric is I’m sorry not I’m silent. Great tab though! Thank you for making this amazing website!
