Verse:
               A
Waking up your neighbors downstairs,
Gbm7
I've been inside your bedroom a thousand years.
           D
And as you tie me to the bed for good I say
       A
that I want you in the most unromantic way.

    D Gbm
Louisiana, you're torturing me with a beautiful face.
             D
Ana come on, I thought we had a damn good thing.
               A Gb7
a penny in the couch and a diamond ring.

Chorus:
             Gb D
So baby stay away from my friends,
         Bm7 Gb7
'cause I need them to carry me.
          Gb D
When it's over I'll count back from ten,
            D Gb7 D -once-
and you can list-en to glass hearts shattering.

Verse:
        A
I don't know how you got into me,
             Gbm7
down my throat and made a home in my veins.
                    D
They used to be the rivers that would take us away,
                 A
but now you only call me every Christmas and my birthday.
                D B
I still can't believe how you look next to me,
            D B -once-
just like a strip club bedroom scene.

Chorus:
          Gb D
Baby stay away from my friends,
         Bm7 Gb7
'cause I need them to carry me.
          Gb D
When it's over I'll count back from ten,
            D Gb7 -break-
and you can list-en to something that you've never heard before.

Interlude: Gbm D Gbm D

Verse:
                             A
But you don't know what it's like
                                D
to wake up in the middle of the night,

scaring the thought of kissing razors.
     A
This blood evacuation is telling me to cave in.
D
Stay away.

Outro:
A D A -once-
Just stay away from my friends.

If you want to play -2, as it is the easiest, Any time i see the E chord i just play D but two frets higher

  2. Josh Joseph

-2 Is easy but if you wanna avoid the tricky E chord +3 is way easier!

  3. -2 is much easier!
