12 ukulele chords used in "Cherry" by Harry Styles: Am, Bm, C, Cmaj7, Cadd9, D, E, Em, Em7, E7sus4, G and Gadd9

i jokingly said “i wonder if it has camille’s voicemail” then i scrolled down and my jaw DROPPED
What I’ve been using as the plucking pattern is this:
GA (plucked together), CE (plucked together), G, A, C
(writing it this way might be easier for some):
GA CE G A C
(this is the same way just with numbers, A being 1, E being 2, C being 3, and G being 4):
4+1 3+2 4 1 3
and I just repeat for most of the song and I usually strum for Verse 2 (even though there’s no guitar there in the song, I just think it sounds nicer!) and the Bridge! I usually don’t play the voicemail outro part but you might be able to find the pattern for that- it’s a different song called “All The Time” by the Kooks and its just the intro part!
Hope this helps!
These chords sound super off to me, I use G Bm Em C repeating instead
A|-5- 5- 2- 2- 0- 2- – –
E|- – – – – – – – 3- 3
C|- – – – – – – – – – –
G|- 0- 0- 0- 0- 0- 0- 0- 0
i think this works idk it looks confusing
A|—5-5—-2-2—0–2-0——-|
E|——————————-3—|
C|————————————|
G|————————————|
i think this fits pretty nicely
do D-UUD-UUD-UD
So in the song there is this little finger picking pattern at the begining so if you play a Gbm/F#m (G7 moved over a string) ive only figured out the very begining is G-C-G-C-E-C plucked to the rythem heard. Hope this helps anyone who wants to know it, but it still needs more work its no where near done. But it sounds very similar
instead of using Em7 throughout the song, i used Em. it sounds a lot better.
Here’s the plucking for this song!
What I figured out is you can play each string in a pattern while holding the finger positions for each chord. For example:
the G chord can be play holding the fingerings for G and plucking CGEA strings at the same time(to the rhythm of the song). Then do the same thing for every chord. I hope this makes sense!
i love the song but camila better shut up.
i do G with with pinkie on 5th fret of A (idk the name but it is now spicy g) G, cadd9 then G x3
then i do 5th fret of a, cmaj7 no fingers x1
then repeat
basically its
SG—————G—————Cadd9 G
don’t you call him baby
SG—————G————–Cadd9 G
we’re not talking lately
SG—————G ———————–Cadd9——G
dont you call him what you used to call me
5fA ————cmaj7——– no fingers——–cmj7
Repeat
Strumming is ddu udu x1 per chord
i use ddu udu
Soo… after many loops of the first 30 seconds of his vouge cover i have concluded that he is playing it differently that how this is tabbed he is indeed capoed off at fifth and but he is playing the same notes as if he was capoed at 7th so do what you will with that
In the vouge thing he just did he capos at fifth so do what you will with that
hope this helps..?
A|-5-5—2-2–0-2—–|
E| —————–2–3|
C|———————–|
G|———————–|
strumming pattern ??
