remember keys
            Ab
I'm good to go
                       B
And I'm going nowhere fast

It could be worse
            E Db
I could be taking you there with me
            E
I'm good to go
                  B Gb Ab Gb E
But it looks like I'm still on my own

            Ab
I'm good to go
              B
For something golden
           Gb E
Though the motions I've been going through have failed
        Ab B
And I'm coasting on potential towards a wall
     Gb E
At a 100 miles an hour

Chorus:
       Ab Gb E
When I say
B Gb
Two more weeks
                  Db E
My foot is in the door -yeah-
B Gb
I can't sleep
               Db E
In the wake of Saturday
B Gb
Saturday
           Db E
When these open doors were open-ended
B Gb
Saturday
           Db E
When these open doors were open-ended

Ab B
Pete and I attacked the laws of Astoria
     Gb E
with promise and precision and mess of youthful innocence
      Ab
And I read about the afterlife
      B Gb E
But I never really lived more than an hour -more than an hour-

Chorus:
       Ab Gb E
When I say
B Gb
Two more weeks
                  Db E
My foot is in the door -yeah-
B Gb
I can't sleep
               Db E
In the wake of Saturday
B Gb
Saturday
           Db E
When these open doors were open-ended
B Gb
Saturday
           Db E
When these open doors were open-ended

Interlude: B E Gb Ab B

      E Gb Ab B
And I read about the afterlife
      E Gb Ab B
But I never really lived
      E Gb Ab B
And I read about the afterlife
      E Gb Ab
But I never really lived

Chorus:
       Ab Gb E
When I say
B Gb
Two more weeks
                  Db E
My foot is in the door -yeah-
B Gb
I can't sleep

the easiest way to play this song is to put a capo on the first fret or tune your ukulele half step up and transpose it to -1

  2. I like it transposed to +1 and changing the A chord to an Am

  3. Instead of Ab it should be Abm. And instead of Db it should be Dbm.

  4. graceliann

Great! It sounds good transposed -4, too.
