@YallAlreadyKnowMyOTP THATS WHY IM HERE TOO! I just finished re reading the last two chapters and figured I should learn this song

Hey peeps

What book?

Supernatural67

Twist and Shout. It’s a Supernatural fan fiction between our favorite angel of the Lord, Castiel and a hunter named Dean. It is set in the 1960s-1981. It follows our ship “Destiel” through thick and thin. They are happy together and then Dean gets drafted to Vietnam and has really bad PTSD after. He runs away from home and Cas moves to San Francisco. Later, they learn that Cas contracted AIDS and is dying. They also go to the beach and Dean learns that he can dig Elvis. This song is playing/Dean is singing it/thinking about it when going through Cas’ things after the inevitable.

A Bad Bleep

Is it ok if I make the chords for the first verse go throughout the whole song?

Imo

strumming pattern?

Bro man

Just up and down, that’s how they do it in elvis’ original one

Lizzy Peake

that last verse doesn’t exist elvis didn’t use it in the original song. Also the verse with all my dreams fulfilled repeats throughout the song. These are not the lyrics at all.

annikhat

I personally like +5 the best :D
heard a cover of it on soundcloud

Hey peeps

Was it Chloe moriondo

Stephenieuku

-2 is quite easy and sounds good

Ennui

I came here because of Norah Jones’ rendition of the song (I thought it was an original)and it was only here that I found out that Elvis is the original performer. Good thing Norah used the same key and chords for this.

I heard this song is actually a traditional folk song or something so it’s actually even older than Elvis, but he definitely was the one who popularized it.

CHUBBYDUCKY__XD

Seriously? You never knew that? It’s called aura Lee.
