Intro: Dbm E B A Dbm The cute bomber jacket you've had since sixth form E Adorned with patches of places you've been B Is nothing on my khaki coat I got A From a roadside when I was sixteen Dbm My boots are from airports My backpack's from friends E I'm not a man of substance, and so I'll pretend B To be a wanderer, wondering A Leaving ascetic belongings in hostels and restaurant bins Dbm The roads are my home, horizon's my target E If I keep on moving, never lose sight of it B Treating my memory of you like a fire, let it A Burn out, don't fight it, and try to move on Dbm It's been sixty weeks since I saw Vienna E A bandage and a wide smile slapped across my face B I'll pick up my hiking boots when I am ready A And I'll put down my roots when I'm dead -single strums- Dbm The distance is futile B Come on, don't be hasty Abm A You'll get that feeling deep inside your bones Dbm I'll be gone then, for when you must be alone Outro: Dbm E B A This arrangement is its contributor’s own interpretation, shared for private study, education and non-commercial use. 5 ukulele chords used in "Since I Saw Vienna" by Wilbur Soot: A, B, Dbm, E and Abm

yesss thank you for thiss I love that there are more and more of Wilbur’s songs on here now (:
+3 has some simpler chords and the key is good if you have a bit of a higher range 🙂
i use the picking pattern 2-3-1-4-2-3 and then 2-3-1-3-2 straight after and then move onto the next chord. its not completely like the original but i think it works :))
i suck at ukulele but love wilbur 😪😪
I think 1,3,2,4 is best strumming pattern? idk tho
so for anyone who needs a plucking pattern i used 2-3-4 and for when it says single down strums i pluck all the strings at once (but not strum) i also used 3+ for chords
Anyone have a picking pattern? like, 2,4,3,1?
i do 4 321 3 1 2 as the picking pattern for each chord once
I’ve seen a lot of people lookin for plucking patterns, so I thought I might say what I like to use.
I use 1,4,2,3
does anyone have a good strumming pattern?
Does anyone know the fingerpicking parts of this ? I can’t find how to play it and its not on here. Help pls!
just wanted to share the plucking pattern i use that i think works pretty well in case anyone needs one 🙂
2-3-1-4-1-3 then 2-3-1-4-3-2 and repeat 👍
based on the guitar song that i’ve learned i just started picking the same way i do on the guitar on the ukelele and i guess it works so here it is
while pressing down dbm, g=q c=2 e=3 a=4
1 (2 and 4 at the same time) 3132
basically that pattern but through all the different chords
I LOVE IT i put it on -4 that are the easiest songs and then i put my capo on the 4th fret. i use the strumming patter D-U-U
the chords i use are 3+, for strumming its DDUD, when its says single strums do that but on the last line last word do a Loud Em (D) ( Quick tip, when you play c in the line “from a road side when i was sixteen” use the DDU strumming pattern)
hey does anyone have ⏃ plucking pattern for the beginning?
I play in +3 and use the strumming pattern 2,3,1,4,2,3 x2 for each chord. Its not perfect, but its simple and sounds pretty good 🙂
for each chord i pick the C string once then the E string twice if that helps
plucking. 2-3-1-3-2-3 x2 then next chord
