Yeh,you’re supposed to use a capo. If you’re not using it you’re supposed to transpose to -1.

  2. I find it easiest it go on
    -1
    Am G C
    DDUUDU

I’m going to sleep away camp soo and I’m so excited I might be playing this song for the talent show
But first me an my sister are doing peace and love from Steven universe
I suggest this song to people ITS AWESOME

  3. Sup Mah Bros

Why don’t they just do am, g, f, and c?? They made this super simple song like so complicated lol XD.

  4. I think using dd dud actually sounds more acurate tbh

  5. ✨Ukumaster✨

Relatively easy song, but I recommend transposing the chords into either -1 or +4 if you struggle with playing barred chords.

For the strumming pattern, you can do it any of these 4 ways:

    Slow strumming:
You can strum once downwards for each chord, or you can use a slow version of DD UDU (Tempo- approximately 85-90)

    Fast strumming:
You can play DDU UDU in a quick motion, or you can play DD DUDU in a quick motion. (Tempo- approximately 120-130)

OMG am I the only one that found this song super hard to do??

    • me too lol but what i used as a pattern that is super easy was am, g and c using duddu!

    • there are easier versions for this song :) I used Am, G, and C and it works perfectly fine :))

    • john laurens, in the place to be

no, it’s a bit challenging for me too. the strumming pattern is hard for me to play and also sing.

      • Alexander Hamilton

I’M JOHN LAURENS IN THE PLACE TO BE,TWO PINTS OF SAM ADAMS AND I’M WORKING ON THREE!
        Hello fellow Hamilfan!

    • UkuleleHelper

Its easier if you replace Bbm with Am, replace Ab with G, and replace Db with C.
Thats what I do, it has easier fingerings and just sounds better.

  7. Personally I use Am, G, and C with the strumming pattern DDUDUDD, it’s easier for me.

  8. the uke playa

soo the thing iss, its actually am, then g, then c. the strumming pattern is dum dummm duh duh dumm dumm. and its much easier to do it like this but okay lol

    • owie my hands

hey, what does dum and duh mean? which one is down and which is up? for down just do d and for up just do u, for example, ddu-udu

      • I think bum is down/d and duh is up/U but I’m not sure is that right “the uke playa”

    • Well a m, G, C is easier, but the original song is a half step up, which is what’s written on this version.

  9. UkulelePro

On the transponder you can actually use your chords. For me, Am, G, and C are the best chords if you don’t have a capo. The strumming pattern I use is DDUUDU (D meaning down, and U meaning up) if you want hard chords the pluses (+) are the hard chords. The minuses (-) are the easy ones. I’m on a medium level. I have -1 on mine

  10. u can just use a AM,C and G its easier :) and also strumming pattern is . DDUUDU I THINK …

  11. I use the strumming pattern of DDUDU and it works well with the down half step chords :)

  12. so this is actually wrong it sounds better if the strumming pattern is ddudu and the cords are in order Am,G,C and on C you repeat the strumming pattern another time and if you want it to sound more like the original capo the first fret as an intro go though everything twice and when it gets to the picking you want to strum every 5 beats and after “i just wanna the next strumm should be at the end of know and it should be a G and if your gonna stay after stay your going to strum an F and after all of that its back on the original hope i can help someone out

  13. For beginner I recommend to use -1

  14. dduudu and am g c not these complicted chords

  15. fluent_gay

    -3, capo on first fret

  16. Elysia Jackson

If you don’t have a capo, you can do Am, G, C for the chord progression instead. It’s easier and still sounds amazing!

  17. I use dduudd to the original rhythm of the song and I use Am instead of Bbm G instead of Db and C instead of Ab

  18. ive been wanting to play this forever but all i found was a easy one i love this tab :3

  19. really good song! -1

    strum:ddudu

  20. Emily Benages

If you want to play Am, G, and C, switch the transposition to -1. Hope that helps y’all like it did me!
