How to play honeybee on ukulele
A good starting strum for this style is the everywhere 4/4: d – d u – u d –. You are playing it in E major. This one leans on trickier shapes, with the chords at the proficient level. For easier shapes, shift it down 2 half-steps with the transposer and clip a capo on fret 2 to land back in the same key.

what’s a good strumming pattern?
Wanted to share a mostly plucking pattern that could work for a full cover on ukulele.
VERSE:
– FIRST HALF: Pluck all strings once per chord on 1 and 3 and mute in 2 and 4.
– SECOND HALF: Pluck C, E, A, E pattern (based on strings), in eighth notes, for each chord.
CHORUS:
– A combination of plucking all, letting them ring, and filling with a decor.
– Pluck all strings on 1 and fill the rest with E, A, E string pattern eighth notes. Repeat for each chord.
Wouldn’t know how to do the instrumental part, it’s too angelic for the ukulele alone.
