5 ukulele chords used in "Marry Me" by Train: Am7, Bb, C, Csus4 and G

Substitute F for Csus4 in most places (there are a couple spots where Csus4 is substituted in the song but not most of them).
Also substitute Am for Am7 in most places it appears. Also, on the second phrase of the verse (“to feel that I’ve had long enough” in the first verse) it goes back up to G on the second half of the first bar, it doesn’t stay on Am7.
Plays well with -5 transcription, you can pluck out the melody with just the notes of a C major scale (G mixolydian).
Am instead of Am7 sounds much better! 🙂
Thank you so much! Im going to be playing this at my uncles wedding in about 2 weeks and am so excited that I have the perfect song!
uhm does anyone know the finger picking of marry me?
I’m not crying, you are. I saw Train in concert this past summer and I still cry every time I hear this song. I cried at the concert, I cry everytime I get requested to play this at gigs, and I can’t hold my emotions when I hear it on the radio.
Fingerpicking Plissè, thanks!!!!
Going to teach someone this for a wedding 🙂
the riff pattern is A-C-E-A-C-A-C-E-A
i love this song! it sounds really good! i tuned my uke so instead of being standard tuning (GCEA) so it is tuned as ACEA
