The good old days, the honest man

a subtle kiss that no one sees
         Ab Ab
a broken wrist and a big trapeze
                Gb Db
Oh well I don't mind, if you don't mind
            Ab -F7- Bbm

The drop dead dream, the chosen one

a southern drawl, a world unseen
       Ab Ab
a city wall and a trampoline

Oh well I don't mind, if you don't mind
              Ab F7 Bbm

  1. replace second G (of double G) in verses only with Gsus4

  2. Jay McLuna

also, going -1 and putting a capo on the first fret makes the song much easier, same sound too

  3. Jay McLuna

    yes.

  4. When it tells you to play Ab twice, I’d suggest switching to dm because it sounds better

  5. Rcsands1999

My comment before is relevant if you transpose the song up one.

  6. Rcsands1999

If you take out the Bm7 chord that goes along with the “Can you read my mind” section and replace it with a D, Asus4, A, it sounds really neat. Plus, it’s easier on the fingers.
