Intro: A D Gbm7 D A One look, dark room, meant just for you D Time moved too fast, you played it back Gbm7 Buttons on a coat, lighthearted joked D No proof not much, but you saw enough A Small talk, he drives coffee at midnight, D the light reflects, the chain on your neck Gbm7 He says look up and your shoulders brush D No proof, one touch you felt enough A You can hear it in the silence, silence, you D You can feel it on the way home, way home, you Gbm7 You can see it with the lights out, lights out, you D You're in love, true love A You're in love A Morning, his place burn toast, Sunday D You keep his shirt, he keeps his word Gbm7 And for once you let go, of your fears and your ghosts D One step, not much, but it said enough A You kissed on sidewalks, you fight and you talk D One night he wakes, strange look on his face Gbm7 Pauses, then says, you're my best friend D And you knew what it was, he is in love A You can hear it in the silence, silence, you D You can feel it on the way home, way home, you Gbm7 You can see it with the lights out, lights out, you D You're in love, true love A And so it goes You two are dancing in a snow globe round and round D And he keeps the picture of you in his office downtown Gbm7 And you understand now why they lost their minds and fought the wars D And why I've spent my whole life try to put it into words A Cause you can hear in the silence D You can feel it on the way home Gbm7 You can see it with the lights out D You're in love, true love A You're in love, you can hear it in the silence, silence, you D You can feel it on the way home, way home, you Gbm7 You can see it with the lights out, lights out, you D You're in love, true love A You're in love A You can hear it in the silence, silence, you D You can feel it on the way home, way home, you Gbm7 You can see it with the lights out, lights out, you D You're in love, true love A You're in love This arrangement is its contributor’s own interpretation, shared for private study, education and non-commercial use. 3 ukulele chords used in "You Are In Love" by Taylor Swift: A, D and Gbm7

+3 is so easy
Play it in -2. It’s so much easier
this is lovely 🙂 if the Gbm7 is too hard, I find that regular Gbm sounds fine
Not really Taylor but it’s funny when people say they are 😉
this song is so awesome
Weird- I bought the deluxe edition of 1989 when i came out, but it didn’t have this song on it for some reason. I think my digital copy was corrupted, though. Style came in as “Track 5” and was just static, so that may be it.
LOVE taylor so much
I used the picking pattern:
A ——–X–
E —–X—–
C –X——–
G ——–X–
twice for each cord 😀
