B U
Em U
C D D D U
Cm D D D U
G DDD
D U
maybe its just me but Em sounds much better at the end
The in little ways doesn’t sound right when you pluck it I’m not sure why but it really doesn’t
Also to strum you just have to strum down c, e, and a and then strum all of them up. It’s confusing but I hope it helps.
I don’t really like the plucking in the chorus, does anyone know the chords I’d play in the chorus?
i recorded me playing this for my sister to listen to and she loved it 🙂
I really like playing D instead of Cmaj7 at the “down” and “around” lyrics in the first verse and the “out” and “drown” lyrics in the second.
It changes the tone so beautifully (and in my opinion sounds more like the version from the duet with Marcelline and her mother)
If you dont want to do finger picking, you can play it like that:
Em C Gmaj7
Everything stays right where you left it
B7 Cmaj7
Everything stays,but it still changes
G Cmaj7 Gmaj7
Ever so slightly daily and nightly
B7 G
In little ways,when everything stays
I think it sounds good,so you can try to play like this instead of finger picking :]
what are the boxes of dashes and numbers, and how do i play them?
just a little tip for the tabliture, instead of a G chord it’s better, for me at least, to have a 2nd fret on the 3rd string down
This song makes me cry
When you do “In little ways” from 5 to 7 instead of seperately plucking them, it sounds better if you slide your finger from 5 to 7 (I don’t know what is the name when you slide your finger)
anyone have a better riff for when it says “but it still changes”?
I dont understand how to play the chorus
jojo siwa
The g cord at the end doesn’t sound right so I replaced it with em
OMG WAIT WHY IS THSI SO GOOD
For self taught people (like me) people who are really confused about the tabs in the chorus, it’s basically just telling you how to pluck out what she sings. If you’d like to play chords, here’s what I’ve figured out by ear
(Stays)Gmaj7. (Left)Em
Everything stays right where you left it
(Stays)B7 (Changes)C
Everything stays, but it still changes
C still
Ever so slightly
(nightly) Gmaj7?
Daily and nightly
(Ways) C6 (one strum)
In little ways
(shh)
When everything
Gmaj7, start of verse pattern
Stays

This song forced me to learn plucking and I have no regrets
