Em Bm
La da da da da,
          C G
I'm gonna bury you in the ground,
Em Bm
La da da da da,
          C G
I'm gonna bury you with my sound,
          Em Bm C G
I'm gonna drink the red from your pretty pink face,
I'm gonna...

Bubblegum: --Marceline! That's too distasteful!
Marceline: -Oh... You don't like that? Or do you just not like me!-

Em Bm
Sorry I don't treat you like a goddess,
   C G
Is that what you want me to do?
Em Bm
Sorry I don't treat you like you're perfect,
     C G
Like all your little loyal subjects do,
Em B7
Sorry I'm not made of sugar,
   C G
Am I not sweet enough for you?
   Em Bm
Is that why you always avoid me?
     C G
That must be such an inconvenience to you,

       C7 B7
Well... I'm just your problem,
Em Cmaj7
I'm just your problem,
                  C7 B7
It's like I'm not even a person, am I?
Em Cmaj7
I'm just your problem

     Em Bm C G
Well, I-I-I-I-I shouldn't have to justify what I do
Em Bm C G
I-I-I-I-I shouldn't have to prove anything to you
    Em Bm C G
I'm sorry that I exist, I forget what landed me on your blacklist
    Em Bm C G
But I-I-I-I-I shouldn't have to be the one that makes up with you

      C7 B7
So... why do I want to?
Em Cmaj7
Why do I want to...
To... bury you in the ground
    Bm C G
And drink the blood from your... Ugh.

  1. AnAverageAmoeba

In the chorus, I prefer C instead of C7 and A instead of Cmaj7

  2. SlitherynQueen8

For the strumming pattern I use single downstrums for when the song is kinda chilled out a bit but when the song gets “Angrier” I use DDX and for the chorus I use single downstrums.

  3. hi sisters

  4. definitely sounds best in +3 and has easiest transitions, also has such a unique and melodramatic tone in +3 10/10 new fav song

  5. Allison Leigh

If you are having trouble playing this simply replace the BM with a D and BM7 with a B.

  6. Dannyplaystheuke

For the strumming pattern I personally just go down once until you reach the chorus and then I use DDDD because the way Marceline plays it is very random and scattered so doing a slow and simple strum is what fits the song in my opinion.

  7. If you listen to the original cover that rebecca sugar sings the strumming is a lot more simple

  8. Itsyaboi

Strumming pattern that I use is DDU for each chord. Hope it helps! :)

  9. To everyone who wants to fukin know the strumming pattern.....

Um.. the strum pattern fur this song is non existent because as u can clearly tell by listening to marceline when she plays the song, the strumming is very uneaven and instantaneous. So make something up maybe. Improvise. ;)

  10. Super Size Mick shizzle

    What is the strum pattern?

  11. Super fun to include extra words like well and no where they fit.

    It’s like I’m not even a person, am I?
    No. I’m just your problem

  12. It sounds better +5 to me

  13. Ukulelepractice

What’s the strumming pattern for this song?

  14. Ukulelepractice

    What’s the strumming pattern?

  15. Man….amazing. problem my fingers can’t reach Bm

    • Try to bar the 2nd fret with your pointer finger and use your ring finger to get that last string. Hope that helps.

  16. This came up as a Christmas song XD?

  17. I play it like the original except cmag7 and c7 are switched the strumming I just go down and after well I’m just your problem and it’s like I’m not even a person am I I go C and then G and then go to the next part

  18. i want a full version of this so badly
    like not interrupted or anything
    that’d be so great
