Intro - x3 -: C Em Am F

C Em
I have a thing I'd like to say to you
Am F
Put down your guns and listen to... Me
C Em
I am unarmed and I have no fear
Am F
I will not budge or steer clear... Of you

C Em
So just save your words and I'll fade away now
Am F
Give me a match and I'll burn it all down
C Em
Pick up your feet and take me home now
            Am F
'Cause it's dark inside, and I'm all alone

- You probably get where this is going by now, it's the same chord progression throughout the whole song -

Your heart is filled with superficiality
I don't quite know what has come over me

So just save your words and I'll fade away now
Give me a match and I'll burn it all down
Pick up your feet and take me home now
'Cause it's dark inside, and I'm all alone

And this the part where the curtain falls
And the day dream ends it all
Where the yellow brick road is much too far to go alone

So just save your words and I'll fade away now
Give me a match and I'll burn it all down
Pick up your feet and take me home now
'Cause it's dark inside, and I'm all alone

Just save your words and I'll fade away now
Give me a match and I'll burn it all down
Pick up your feet and take me home now
'Cause it's dark inside, and I'm all alone
