What’s New on UkuTabs: A Blog, Song Lists and 324 Chord Pages

A lot has shipped on UkuTabs lately: this very blog, two new song lists, a page for every single ukulele chord and a free tuner app. Here is the summer 2026 roundup.
UkuTabs has been around since 2012, but the last few weeks were some of the busiest in its history. Instead of letting everything slip quietly into the site, here is the first proper roundup of what is new, what it does and where to find it.
Yes, UkuTabs has a blog now
You are reading it. The guides section remains the place for the evergreen, in-depth stuff, every guide written by me and not by AI, and that is not changing. This blog is the quicker, looser layer on top: song stories like the Janine Berdin wave, tutorials like Happy Birthday in ten minutes, seasonal picks, gear notes and updates like this one. New posts land every week or so, and the blog hub collects them all.
Two new song lists: Disney and campfire
The song lists section grew from three lists to five, and the two newcomers cover a lot of requests at once. The Top 10 Disney Songs for Ukulele runs from Under the Sea to Into the Unknown, easiest first, with chord diagrams for every pick. And the Top 10 Campfire Songs for Ukulele is exactly what your summer evenings ordered: three-chord singalongs, sorted so you can start playing before the fire even gets going.
Every ukulele chord now has its own page
This one has been live for a few weeks and quietly changes how the whole site works: all 324 ukulele chords now have their own page, from plain old C to exotic stuff like Gbadd9. Each page shows every way to play the chord, lets you hear it, works for left-handed players and baritone tuning, and lists songs that actually use it. Tap any chord inside any song sheet and you land there.
Browse songs by difficulty
The song archive now splits cleanly into easy, intermediate and advanced, each sorted with the most played songs on top. If you are brand new, the easy page is genuinely the best place on the site to start: simple chords, gentle strumming, classics first.
A free tuner in your pocket
The online tuner has a little sibling: the UkuTuner app for iPhone. Free, no ads, works offline, and it uses the same accurate pitch detection as the site. An update with a string-target picker is on its way to the App Store as I write this. Android players, hang tight: the Play Store version is in review right now, so it is nearly your turn too.
What is next
More lists (suggestions welcome), more posts and a few things I am keeping under my hat for now.
