Am C My secrets are burning a hole through my heart G And my bones catch a fever Am When it cuts you up this deep C G It's hard to find a way to breathe Am Your eyes are swallowing me C Mirrors start to whisper G Shadows start to see Am C My skin's smothering me G D Help me find a way to breathe Am Time stood still Em G The way it did before C Am G It's like I'm sleepwalking Am Em G Fell into another hole again C Am G It's like I'm sleepwalking Am I'm at the edge of the world C Where do I go from here? G Do I disappear? Am Edge of the world C Should I sink or swim? G Or simply disappear? Am Your eyes are swallowing me C Mirrors start to whisper G Shadows start to see Am My skin's smothering me Em G Help me find a way to breathe Am Time stood still Em G The way it did before C Am G It's like I'm sleepwalking Am Em G Fell into another hole again C Am G It's like I'm sleepwalking Am C Wake up! Take my hand and Em G Give me a reason to start again Am C Wake up! Pull me out and Em G Give me a reason to start again Time stands still Am Your eyes are swallowing me C Mirrors start to whisper G Shadows start to see Am My skin's smothering me Em G Help me find a way to breathe Am Time stood still Em G The way it did before C Am G It's like I'm sleepwalking Am Em G Fell into another hole again C Am G It's like I'm sleepwalking Am Em Time stood still G The way it did before C Am G It's like I'm sleepwalking This arrangement is its contributor’s own interpretation, shared for private study, education and non-commercial use. 5 ukulele chords used in "Sleepwalking" by Bring Me the Horizon: Am, C, D, Em and G

So I personally feel like this sounds really off, maybe because I’m playing the This Wild Life’s version, so if you’re doing something this is what I’d recommend:
Throughout the whole song play C Am Em G – usually like
C Am
Your eyes are swallowing me
Em G
mirrors start to whisper shadows start to see
and up until your eyes are swallowing me, for the first few lines of the verse, I like to fingerpick it in a way – I still play the chord, as in I have my hands on the right strings and frets, but i’ll play the top & bottom string together, second to bottom, one above, back down, top one, and repeat as I play the chords in time. It’s kinda tricky so don’t worry about that if you don’t want to because the chords sound fine.
If any of this was confusing, the way I play it is the same as “leo leonard” on youtube, so just look them up with “sleepwalking ukulele” and slow the video down to watch their hands 🙂
its funny how I just turned a heavy rock song into some softcore wtf lmao
This is amazing, my fave Bring Me The Horizon song. I was hoping that playing this on a ukulele wouldn’t ruin the sound (if that makes any sense) but it didn’t and yh, idk, good job ?
what strumming pattern do you use?
if you get really creative with the strumming this rips! really gentle spaced out strokes for the poetic part at the beginning and then gradually build the momentum.
Actually sounded better than I thought! This is my favorite Bring Me The Horizon song. I didn’t expect it to sound so good on the ukulele, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. :3
Through most of the song i like to go pretty fast, but listen to the song and you can hear when olli slows down, when oli slows down play kind of down down down down up but do it nice and slow. I did a lot of up down up down throught the song.
