8 ukulele chords used in "First Day Of My Life" by Bright Eyes: A, B, Dbm, Dm, E, Fm, Gb7 and Ab

Just:
– Play it on +1,
– Replace Ebm with Gm
– Play a C7 at the end of the 1st and 4th verses (“… on the beach” and “… just woke up”)
– Slide from Gm to [0 5 6 4] (unknown chord? basically a Gm+3) at the end of the Interlude and in the Outro
… and it really sounds like the original imo.
Please tell me what you think!
-4 with F and D7 instead of Bbm, and Em instead of E
If you play on standard, try F#m instead of Dm
When it does Gbm Ebm Ebm, it works better just to do Bb C F. Also, switching out all Ebm chords for Bb works a lot better.
I’m playing it on +3, and the Fm sounds horrible, anyone know the right chord to play instead?
i personally prefer -4 it fits my alto voice pretty well
-4 is the easiest to sing to
easiest to play at +1
instead of fm and G, I’ve been playing C, D, G
I think the Dm sounds terrible. Is that really the right note?
an easier way to play dbm is to play a bm chord on the forth fret
Is there a chord that sounds better than Ab/G#?
Is there an easier way of playing the dBm chord?
Is there an easier way to do a dBm?
Is there an easier way to do a dBm?
In -4 you can replace E with Em and Bbm with D7 and it pretty much sounds the same
in -4 you can replace Bbm with F
if you replace Ebm with Bb on +1 it sounds better
Replace Dm with Gbm and Fm with Am. It sounds much better.
