Intro -x2-: G Bm C D

Chorus:
               G Bm C
I can still recall, our last summer
D G Bm C
I still see it all
  D G Bm Em
Walks along the Seine, Dancing in the rain
Bm C D G G
Our last summer, memories that remain

Verse:
G Em
We made our way along the river
        G C G Am
And we sat down in the grass by the Eiffel tower
D G
I was so happy we had met
D G
It was the age of no regret
 D7 G
Ohhhh yes
  G Em C
Those crazy years that was the time
G Em D
Of the flower-power
Am
But underneath
Am
We had a fear of flying
Am
Of growing old
Am
a fear of slowly dying
Am
We took our chance
                               D D
Like we were dancing our last dance

Chorus:
               G Bm C
I can still recall, our last summer
D G Bm C
I still see it all
 D G Bm C
In the tourist jam, Round the Notre Dame

Bm C D G
Our last summer, walking hand in hand
  D G Bm C
Paris restaurants, Our last summer
   D G Bm C
Morning croissants
   D G Bm C
Living for the day, worries far away
Bm C D G G
Our last summer, we could laugh and play

Bridge:
G Em
And now you're working in a bank
          G Am
a family man, a football fan
G Am
And your name is Harry
Am
How dull it seems
Am D
Are you the hero of my dreams

Chorus:
D G Bm C
I can still recall, our last summer

I still see it all
 D G Bm C

  1. For the intro and first verse I do:

    A— — — 2 — — — — 0 — — — — 3 — — — — 0 — —
    E — — 3 3 — — — 2 2 — — — 0 0 — — — 2 2 — —
    C — 2 — — — — 2 — — — — 0 — — — — 2 — — — —

the chords you need to hold for the fingerpicking are g,d,c,d.

The rest of the song I strum with the chords that ukutabs gives.

    +5 is great

  3. What is the strumming pattern for this song ?

    • Dat lone birb

hey the strumming pattern I use is (the first line as an example) down twice on the G up as I change chords down twice on the Bm up strumand I stum in a slow almost lazy llt to fit the mood of the song as I change down twice on the C

  4. Where do i find the strumming pattern??

  5. +5 is best for beginners definitely the strum pattern is a bit tricky but i found it easier to do single strums and sing with it if you have any other strum ideas feel free to share

  6. maris.stella0515

i suggest this plucking strings C,E,A,E for the whole song
like this for the g chord
    A—2-
    E–3-3
    C-2—
    G—–
it helps to listen to the recording to get it, but overall these chords are awesome!!

  7. mikumimi17

    It sounds best at -2 and you sing soprano. \( ^ o ^ )/

  8. After the D chord on the line “last dance” at the end of the first verse, play a D7 before you go into the G chord at the start of the verse ;)

  9. Katrina101.23.

pick like this for the chorus

    A———2—
    E——3——
    C—2——–2
    G————-

    Great Tab! Thank you!!
I also like playing a D7 in some parts of the song, especially on the last chorus. Gives it more of a dramatic feel.
    Thanks again!:D
