Intro: Bm Gbm G A

                      Bm
Everybody’s got their demons
Gbm G
even wide awake or dreaming
A Bm Gbm G
I’m the one who ends up leaving, make it ok

                  Bm
See a war I wanna fight it
Gbm G
See a match I wanna strike it
A Bm Gbm G
Every fire I’ve ignited faded to grey

                      Bm
But now that I’m broken
        Gbm G
And now that you know it
      A Bm
Caught up in a moment
    Gbm G
Can you see inside?

cuz I’ve got a jet black heart
                             A
And there’s a hurricane underneath it
          Bm G
Trying to keep us apart
  A Bm G
I write with a poison pen
                             A
But these chemicals moving between us
        Bm G
Are the reason to start again

Interlude: Bm Gbm G

A Bm
Now im holding on for dear life
Gbm G
There’s no way that we could rewind
A Bm
Maybe there’s nothing after midnight
     Gbm G
That could make you stay

    A Bm
But now that I’m broken
        Gbm G
And now that you know it
A Bm
Caught up in a moment
    Gbm G
Can you see inside?

     A Bm G
cuz I’ve got a jet black heart
                             A
And there’s a hurricane underneath it
          Bm G
Trying to keep us apart
  A Bm G
I write with a poison pen
                             A
But these chemicals moving between us
        Bm G
Are the reason to start again

Interlude: D

D
-woah, woah-

D
the blood in my veins is made up of mistakes
Dbm
lets forget who we are and dive into the dark
Bm G D Dbm
as we burst into color we turn into life

     A Bm G
cuz I’ve got a jet black heart
                             A
And there’s a hurricane underneath it
          Bm G
Trying to keep us apart
  A Bm G
I write with a poison pen
                             A
But these chemicals moving between us
        Bm G
Are the reason to start again

-the blood in my veins is made up of mistakes-
A Bm G
lets forget who we are and dive in…-

This songs gives me the feels

  2. Strumming pattern I use: D D D-U
Idk if it’s the right one, but it’s what’s easiest

  3. What’s the strumming pattern ?

  4. Instead of Dbm play a regular DB sound a lot better

  5. peanutmarie1111

-2 is easier in my opinion and if you out the capo in fret 2 it’s the same key

  6. booksandmusic

    -2 has way easier chords

  7. jscozzari

    +3 is easiest
