Intro: D | D | G | G Verse: D | D | G | G | D | D | G | G | Em | Em | A | A | Em | G | Em | A | D | I know that it is freezing but i think we have to walk keep waving at the taxis they keep turning their lights off but julie knows a party at some actor's west-side loft supplies are endless in the evening by the morning they'll be gone Verse: D | D | G | G | D | D | G | G | Em | Em | A | A | Em | G | Em | A | D | When everything is lonely i can be my own best friend I get a coffee and the paper have my own conversations with the sidewalk and the pigeons and my window reflection the mask i polish in the evening by the morning looks like xxxx Chorus: G | G | D | D | G | G | D | E7 | G | Bm | Em | D | G | Em | G | Em | A | D | And I know you have a heavy heart, I can feel it when we kiss So many men stronger than me have thrown their backs out trying to lift it But me i'm not a gamble you can count on me to split The love I sell you in the evening by the morning won't exist Verse: D | D | G | G | D | D | G | G | Em | Em | A | A | Em | G | Em | A | D | You're looking skinny like a model with your eyes all painted black Just keep going to the bathroom always say you'll be right back Well it takes one to know one kid i think you've got it bad But whats so easy in the evening by the morning's such a drag Verse: D | D | G | G | D | D | G | G | Em | Em | A | A | Em | G | Em | A | D | I've got a flask inside my pocket we can share it on the train And if you promise to stay conscious i will try and do the same Yeah we might die from medication but we sure killed all the pain But what was normal in the evening by the morning seems insane Chorus: G | G | D | D | G | G | D | E7 | G | Bm | Em | D | G | Em | G | Em | A | D | Em | G | Em | A | Bm | Em | G | Em | G | Em | G | end in D And i'm not sure what the trouble was that started all of this The reasons all have run away but the feeling never did It's not something i would recommend but it is one way to live Cause what is simple in the moonlight by the morning never is Yeah it was simple in the moonlight now it's so complicated It was so simple in the moonlight, so simple in the moonlight, so simple in the moonlight. 6 ukulele chords used in "Lua" by Bright Eyes: A, Bm, D, Em, E7 and G

This would make great background music in an indie game. Hm. Can’t put my finger on it.
dd udu if it wasnt obvious
I just have a tiny suggestion for the chords in the chorus; for the lyrics, “count on me to split” and “is one way to live”, I’d use the chord progression, D, A, G. I think it’s more accurate. Beautiful song, though, and I love how you’ve put it all together. 🙂
Oh my goodness this is perfect once I figured it out! I actually forgot to look this up for awhile out of fear it wouldn’t be here. But I shouldn’t have doubted. Thank you for putting these 🙂 I love this song
I like the chords, but I don’t like how it’s set up
Love this tab. One of my favorite songs to play!
If you pull the strings, then strum d-u-d it sounds more like the song
perfect chords!! thank you so much !
hi !! so if you want to play +3 then i would put a capo on fret 2 so that it sounds more like the original song. it may be a little difficult to play the Bb chord with the capo but i got it to sound nice because i put it right after the 1st fret so that my fingers have enough room to play. ty for the chords!!!
wow, great tabs! the only chord i have a problem with is Bm because my hands aren’t big enough to accurately play it, so if anyone as a chord that i can replace it with that would be fantastic. thank you so much !! <3
These tabs are great! Love this song <3
Just wanted to add that it sounds best (and is easier to play, at least to me) if you transpose the chords either two half steps down (-2) or five half steps up (+5) 🙂 +3 also sounds good but it is a bit more difficult to play.
What the frick. Why are the chords like over the words so I know when to change it while I am singing. I can’t understand this. Also why is blackbird look like sheet music not any other song. Can some help me. Thanks
