    Em D G Am7

Em D G Am7

    Em D G Am7
Cos I got time while she got freedom
    Em D G Am7
Cos when a heart breaks no it don't break even

    Em D G Am7
Her best days will be some of my worst

She finally met a man that's gonna put her 1st

C G D Em
What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up that you're OK, yeah
C G D Em
I'm falling to pieces, yeah
C G D Em
I'm falling to pieces

Interlude: Em D G Am7

     Em D G Am7
They say bad things happen for a reason
    Em D G Am7
But no wise words gonna stop the bleeding
    Em D G Am7
Cos she's moved on while I'm still grieving
    Em D G Am7
And when a heart breaks no it don't break even - even, no -

C G D Em
What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you, and
C G D Em
What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up that you're OK
C G D Em C
I'm falling to pieces yeah
G D Em
I'm falling to pieces yeah
C G D Em
I'm falling to pieces

Cal

Just play normal Am, it’s easier and sounds better.

A Random Person

You think that playing Am is easier than playing all open strings?!

moanaoftheukulele

personally, I think that with the chord progression, it is easier. on its own, it is more difficult but doing this helped me learn the song.

bregoonan

Original chords sound weird in my opinion

Leigh

The correct version without capo is +2

Anish

No the correct version is +3

jomama

-2 is easy and sounds nice

Garrett

What does -2 mean and how would i do that?

xEnenraaa

I personally like the strum pattern DD-U-X-U
And of course, X means to chuck or hit if you cant chuck

Mars

I personally can’t come up with a strumming pattern.

MonkeyMania

Is it just me or is this a bit too easy to be a 3/5 ?

MonkeyMania
