    Em D G Am7

Em D G Am7
I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing
     Em D G Am7
Just prayed to a god that I don't believe in
    Em D G Am7
Cos I got time while she got freedom
    Em D G Am7
Cos when a heart breaks no it don't break even

    Em D G Am7
Her best days will be some of my worst
    Em D G Am7
She finally met a man that's gonna put her 1st
      Em D G Am7

C G D Em
What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you, and
C G D Em
What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up that you're OK, yeah
C G D Em
I'm falling to pieces, yeah
C G D Em
I'm falling to pieces

Interlude: Em D G Am7

     Em D G Am7
They say bad things happen for a reason
    Em D G Am7
But no wise words gonna stop the bleeding
    Em D G Am7
Cos she's moved on while I'm still grieving
    Em D G Am7
And when a heart breaks no it don't break even - even, no -

C G D Em

  1. Just play normal Am, it’s easier and sounds better.

  2. xEnenraaa

I personally like the strum pattern DD-U-X-U
And of course, X means to chuck or hit if you cant chuck

  3. I personally can’t come up with a strumming pattern.

  4. Original chords sound weird in my opinion

  5. MonkeyMania

Is it just me or is this a bit too easy to be a 3/5 ?

  6. MonkeyMania

  12. Rob Harker

Is there a cord that you can put in instead of Am7 as it sounds to high pitched for the song?

  13. :)Noelle:):)

The original recording is with capo on 2 but the same chords.
