Intro: G Am Em C -x2-

Verse 1:
      G Am
Some girls get all done up hide their face and repair
      Em C
they attend every party but its taking them no where
G Am
Some think its funny say they dont even care
           Em C
but on the inside, they wish, they were there

Pre-Chorus:
G Am Em C
What has it come to now? We all wanna be like the rest
G Am Em C
cant describe just how but its all a beautiful mess

Chorus:
    G Am
One moment we're broken and then we're fine
    Em C
he called you back wait wasnt he mine
    G Am
one moment we're broken and then we're fine
    Em C
its all one puzzle in the teenage mind
G Am Em C
in the teenage mind

Verse 2:
     G Am
some boys make the trouble and think their all it
Em C
constantly in company or thrown to the ditch
    G Am
and some are just there to have a good time
         Em C
ignoring every bit or drama and each little lie

Pre-Chorus:
G Am Em C
What has it come to now? We all wanna be like the rest
G Am Em C
cant describe just how but its all a beautiful mess

Chorus:
  G Am
One moment we're broken and then we're fine
    Em C
he called you back wait wasnt he mine
    G Am
one moment we're broken and then we're fine
    Em C
its all one puzzle in the teenage mind
G Am Em C
  in the teenage mind

Bridge:
       G Am Em C
in the teenage teenage mind
G Am
what have we come to now
Em C
cant describe just how

Outro:
    G Am
one moment we're broken and then we're fine
     Em C
they said hello but missed goodbye
G Am
we are all insane inside
    Em C
and no one can figure out the teenage mind

Seems pretty legit. Thank you so much or adding Tate Mcrae’s songs into your website, it makes me a fan of it! I really enjoyed singing a long while playing the ukulele. But as for the strumming pattern, I just followed what other comments said, and it turned out amazing! Again, thank you.

I use DDUUDU for nearly every song and it works pretty well with this one too *-*

Paisley

I just started the ukulele, but this song was pretty easy to play.

iloveukulele

for the strum everyone is saying dduudu but i feel like dddu goes more with the vibe of the song

Minea

I use DDUX and it works pretty well! ?

veee

jorja

for everybody asking about the strumming pattern i did one strum down then mute and it sounded good but i don’t know if it’s right :)

anonymous

I think -5 is good for altos. (at least it works for me)

minda

Is this the right lyrics?

Uker

its almost all corect exept for its lost in the puzzle of the teenage mind

iloveukulele

i thought so exept for the chorus when it repeats teenage mind twice that was strange, also the “bridge” I’m pretty sure isn’t in the song so I just skipped those parts.

vi

hi! i use DDUDU for most songs, and if u set the tempo right, it works perfect fro this one too :))

Isabella Garcia
