A E D A We'll do it all, everything, on our own. A E D A We don't need anything, or anyone. A E If I lay here, if I just lay here D A Would you lie with me, and just forget the world. A E D A I don't quite know how to say how I feel A E D A Those three words, I said too much, but not enough. A E If I lay here, if I just lay here D A Would you lie with me, and just forget the world. A E Forget what we're told, before we get too old D A Show me a garden that's bursting into life. A E D A Let's waste time, chasing cars, around our heads. A E D A I need your grace to remind me, to find my own. A E If I lay here, if I just lay here D A Would you lie with me, and just forget the world. A E Forget what we're told, before we get too old D A Show me a garden that's bursting into life. A E All that I am, all that I ever was D A Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see A E I don't know where, confused about how as well D A just know that these things will never change for us at all. A E If I lay here, if I just lay here D A Would you lie with me, and just forget the world. 3 ukulele chords used in "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol: A, D and E

Does anybody find that e is hard to do?? Or is it just that i have tiny hands 😉
So I looked at all these comments, and basically put everything together. Transpose to +3, I picked g,e,a in the beginning, and kept the G chord. dduudu in the chorus, and switched the g to Em. From what I can hear, it’s pretty close to identical.
I pluck the G and C strings for the verses and i do DDU-UDU for the prechorus and the chorus.
two words: destiel feels
I say +3 is the best for beginners and with the strumming pattern of DDUUDU! I hope this helped.
I think that it is “those three words, are said too much, they’re not enough”
-2
It’s a beautiful day to save lives
-7 is closest to the original and sounds best. Also is pretty good for beginners.
I personally think it sounds best on -2 without a capo
I think it sounds amazing on -2. For each chord, (G,D, and C) Finger pick on the E and A strings. As you get farther along, I will sometimes switch to pick the G and A strings. It adds a deeper tone to the song.
if you play on -2 and but the capo on fret 2 you can play in key and it’s easier
it sounds a lot better picking!
I do (for C) 2nd string, 4th string, 3rd string, 4th string repeat! sounds great 🙂
DENNNNY :'(
Love this song!!!
Love this song, we sing it with our choir. The suggested ADE just fit perfectly with our version. at first the E seemed horrible, with only these three chords a perfect way to learn it 😉
someone needs to do this with a banana fish edit TuT
Strumming pattern?
this is easiest at +3. the G is not right however, and sounds much better as an Em! on 0, this means the Gb should be and Ebm.
I think it’s amazing but I would use 2nd finger on 2nd string 2nd fret, plucking 4X then put fist finger on the same string take off 2nd finger and put 1st finger 1 fret higher 4X, then leave 1st finger down and now play 1st string no fingers 4X and 1st string but on the 2nd string leave 1st finger on 2nd string, then repeat.
