How to play Holes on ukulele
The strumming pattern for Holes: d – d u – u d u. It rolls along at a brisk pace of around 128 bpm. On this page the song is in E major. The chords ask a bit more of you, so I rate them proficient. Prefer easier shapes? Transpose the song down 2 half-steps, then a capo on fret 2 brings you back to the key on this page. Let the island strum bounce evenly through the verses and keep the energy up.

eeep – some of the words are wrong dude.
its :
“Mortgage to pay and four kids to raise,
but keeping the Wolf from the door!
She said the Wolfs just a puppy and the doors double locked,
so why your gotta worry me for”
🙂
4- so much easier
easiest way to play E is to keep playing it, it’ll stop being so painful after awhile. Also you could try barring the first fret and placing your fingers accordingly (though i find this more difficult)
what if my fingers are too small, is there an easier way to play E or other cords i could use?
