Dbm B E
I know a man with nothing in his hands
Dbm B E
Nothing but a rolling stone
Dbm B E
He told me bout when his house burnt down
Dbm B E
And lost everything he owned

Dbm B E
He lay asleep for six whole weeks
Dbm B E
They were gonna ask his mother to choose
Dbm B E
When he woke up with nothing he said a day is something
Dbm B E
When youve got nothing youve got nothing to lose

              A
Now I got a hole in my pocket
    E
a hole in my shirt
    B Dbm
a whole lot of troubles he said
     A E
But now that its gone well life carries on
       B Dbm
And i miss it like a hole in the head

Interlude: -x4-: Dbm B E

Dbm B E
I know a woman with kids around her ankles
     Dbm B E
And a baby on her lap
           Dbm B E
She said one day her husband went to get a paper
            Dbm B E
And the motherxxxxer never came back
Dbm B E
Four fees to pay and four kids to raise
     Dbm B E
But keeping war from the door
             Dbm B E
She said the worlds just a puppy and the doors double locked
    Dbm B E
So what ya gotta worry me for

               A
Now he left a hole in my heart
   E
a hole in a promise
    B Dbm
a hole on the side of my bed
     A E
But now that hes gone well life carries on
       B Dbm
And i miss him like a hole in the head

         A E B
Well sometimes you cant change and you cant choose
         A E B
And sometimes it seems you gain less than you lose

             Gbm A
Now we got holes in our hearts
              E B
Yeah we got holes in our lives
             Gbm A E
Well we got holes we got holes but we carry on -x2-

             Gbm A
Say we got holes in our hearts
              E B
Yeah we got holes in our lives
             Gbm A E
Well we got holes we got holes but we carry on

    4- so much easier

easiest way to play E is to keep playing it, it’ll stop being so painful after awhile. Also you could try barring the first fret and placing your fingers accordingly (though i find this more difficult)

  3. what if my fingers are too small, is there an easier way to play E or other cords i could use?

    its :

“Mortgage to pay and four kids to raise,
but keeping the Wolf from the door!
She said the Wolfs just a puppy and the doors double locked,
so why your gotta worry me for”
