I didn’t like ow G5 sounded, I think just G sounds much better if anyone was thinking the same thing and couldn’t come up with anything that sounded good. <3 <3

I thought the same until I noticed the tiny 1 in the corner meaning it all needs to shift up a fret I think? You might have already seen it but if not I think it sounds good like that

I use DDU-UDU or DD-UDU. You can also do the plucking pattern of C-E-A-E if you wish. There are many strumming patterns you can use though. Happy playing!

also, I failed to mention, I sometimes use DD-UU. Whatever works for you :)
