remember keys
I'm a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm
And the scars that mark my body, they're silver and gold...

   Eb
My blood is a flood of rubies, precious stones
   Db Abm
It keeps my veins hot, the fires find a home in me
                                      Db
I move through town, I'm quiet like a fire
       Abm Eb
And my necklace is of rope, I tie it and untie it

        Abm
And our people talk to me, but nothing ever hits
   B Gb
So people talk to me, and all the voices just burn the holes
              Abm
I'm going in -whole-

                                Ebm
This is the start of how it all ends
                                               Gb
They used to shout my name, now they whisper it

I'm speeding up and this is the
Db Ebm Abm
Red, orange, yellow flicker beat sparking up my heart
                                  Ebm
We rip the start, the colors disappear
                                                 Gb
I never watch the stars there's so much down here

So I just try to keep up with them
Db Ebm Abm
Red, orange, yellow flicker beat sparking up my heart

                                           Db
I dream all year, but they're not the same kinds
        Abm Eb
And the shivers move down my shoulder blades in double time

        Abm
And now people talk to me, I'm slipping out of reach now
B Gb
People talk to me, and all their faces blur bright, I got my
Abm
Fingers laced together and I made a little prison
        Gb*
And I'm locking up everyone who ever laid a finger on me
              Abm
I'm going in -whole-

                                Ebm
This is the start of how it all ends
                                               Gb
They used to shout my name, now they whisper it

I'm speeding up and this is the
Db Ebm Abm
Red, orange, yellow flicker beat sparking up my heart
                                  Ebm
We rip the start, the colors disappear
                                                 Gb
I never watch the stars there's so much down here

So I just try to keep up with them
Db Ebm Abm
Red, orange, yellow flicker beat sparking up my heart, oh oh oh
                Ebm
And this is the red, orange, yellow flicker beat
                    Gb
Sparking up my heart, oh oh oh
                Db Ebm Ebm
And this is the red, orange, yellow flicker beat-beat-beat-beat, mmmm

read the username. U might want to look at the lyrics on a different site but the chords are fine I think.

  2. -1 is how i learned it before it was on this website :) Easier to sing and play in my opinion!

    thank you!

  4. If you transpose it +6 the cords are way easier. Great song!

Some of the lyrics aren’t right, same with some of the chords in the beginning verse. I don’t think the Dm in the chorus is right either. I play it with a Bb but that’s just me.
