3 ukulele chords used in "Ring Of Fire" by Johnny Cash: C, D7 and G

Regular D sounds indeed much better for me. Also, not to depreciate what was done, but the lyrics seems a bit off. First verse should be
Love is a burning thing
And it makes a fiery ring
Bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire
anyway, thx for the hard work!
What’s the strum pattern?
Yep! Regular D is sooooo much better!
Guys I’m the biggest Johnny cash fan on planet earth and I am so happy that this is on here. I’m kinda disappointed that other Johnny cash songs aren’t on here, though. It’s a bummer?
this is the strumming patterns i use
Chorus:
DDUDDDDDDUD
Verse:
UDDDUDU
Try +2, +5, or -5 for different singing ranges that are still simple to play.
Is there a strumming pattern?
I changed the 7th to a regular major chord for the first two 7ths in the chorus. If you are looking for really easy chord transitions, -7 is the best.
I learned +5 from Fender Play, except they don’t have the lyrics, so I came here. For strumming I do C=DDDD DD then the chord f or c7 DD for the begging of the song. Then the courus the same except for C7
If you transpose up either to +5 or +2 or down to -5 you’ll have easier cords. I personally like the sound of -5 the best
I believe the original key is +2 here. D – E7 – A. Yes, I know, I know… but when you nail that E7-A-E7 it is saaaweet!
Thanks for this! I feel that sometimes a regular D sounds better in this song than D7
