  1. So sad that Tom Petty died ??????

  2. Also I think it sounds a lot better when you play C7 instead of G?❤️??

  3. My dad love loves this song!!?????

  4. I think -5 is easiest it’s just “C F F C G”

  5. Meglongo

For everyone commenting that this is a tom petty song: this is the John Mayer version of the song. He sings it differently.

  6. Two things. One, Tom Petty wrote this. Two, I find it easy to do, G, C, C, (this one I don’t know):
    0
    0
    0
    2
    And D

  7. Hi, This is a Tom Petty song. Just a good note to have, John Mayer didn’t write it.

  8. I find it easy to do G,C,Em,D if your a beginner

  9. Great song. What I like doing which makes it a little fancier sounding and also is a little easier to play is first I transpose to the key of C. Then, instead of F, I play Csus4 and instead of G I play Gsus4. My ring finger stays of the third fret of the A string the whole time and I use my index finger for Csus4 and my index and middle for Gsus4.
