Verse:
Bbm Gb
First things first, I'ma say all the words inside my head
                    F Bbm
I'm fired up and tired of the way that things have been, oh-ooh
                          Gb F
The way that things have been, oh-ooh
Bbm Gb
Second thing second, don't you tell me what you think that I can be
                     F Bbm
I'm the one at the sail, I'm the master of my sea, oh-ooh
                  Gb F
The master of my sea, oh-ooh

Pre-Chorus:
       Bbm
I was broken from a young age, taking my soul into the masses
                Gb F
Write down my poems for the few, that looked at me took to me, shook to me, feeling me
               Bbm
Singing from heart ache from the pain, take up my message from the veins
             Gb F
Speaking my lesson from the brain, seeing the beauty through the...

Chorus:
Bbm
Pain!
                                Gb F
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
Bbm
Pain!
                                       Gb F
You break me down, you build me up, believer, believer
Bbm
Pain!
                                   Gb
I let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
    F
My luck, my love, my God, they came from...
Bbm
Pain!
                                Gb F
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer

Verse:
Bbm Gb
Third things third, send a prayer to the ones up above
                           F Bbm
All the hate that you've heard has turned your spirit to a dove, oh-ooh
                Gb F
Your spirit up above, oh-ooh

Pre-Chorus:
       Bbm
I was choking in the crowd, living my brain up in the cloud
             Gb F
Falling like ashes to the ground, hoping my feelings, they would drown
         Bbm
But they never did, ever lived, ebbing and flowing, inhibited, limited
                         Gb F
Till it broke up and it rained down, it rained down, like...

Chorus:
Bbm
Pain!
                                Gb F
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
Bbm
Pain!
                                       Gb F
You break me down, you build me up, believer, believer
Bbm
Pain!
                                   Gb
I let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
    F
My luck, my love, my God, they came from...
Bbm
Pain!
                                Gb F
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer

Bridge:
Bbm Gb
Last things last, by the grace of the fire and the flames
                        F Bbm
You're the face of the future, the blood in my veins, oh-ooh
                 Gb F
The blood in my veins, oh-ooh
         Bbm
But they never did, ever lived, ebbing and flowing, inhibited, limited
                         Gb F
Till it broke up and it rained down, it rained down, like...

Chorus:
Bbm
Pain!

You made me a, you made me a believer, believer

Pain!
                                       Gb F
You break me down, you build me up, believer, believer
Bbm
Pain!
                                   Gb
I let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
    F
My luck, my love, my God, they came from...
Bbm
Pain!
                                Gb F
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer

  1. Charlie rose

Try -1 and change E to E7. It sounds a lot better

  2. I personally find that +1 transpose is easier and closer to the original.

  3. I find that if the cords Bbm and Gb are too hard, change them to C and G. It helps and it sounds alright

  4. I used +7 but instead of Fm I did Am and it worked really really well. Also my strumming pattern was weird. I kinda did a weird slow DD stop thing. As a beginner this worked really well personally. I played for my sister since she asked me to learn the song and she liked it.

  5. Strumming Pattern?

  6. loving it

  7. I love this song so much!! They should so add Dream though!!! Such a good song. I’ve found some issues with some of the chords in other songs, but this one doesn’t seem to have any issues!

  8. +6 is the easiest is only has Em, C, and B
    #EZ

  9. -3 is really easy too!

  10. I agree, -1 is GREAT. That Bbm in the original is freakin’ HARD [ for me]

  11. uNICORN UKE FAN

LOVE THIS SOME SOOOOOOOO MUCH :)

  12. tenorUker

Try -1 with E as Em! Super EZ!

  13. -1 is the easiest. Also stick with E it sounds better than E7. Also with E it sounds like the original song.
