Verse:
F C Am F C Am
a falling star, fell from your heart and landed in my eyes
F C Am
I screamed aloud, as it tore through them
F C Am
And now it's left me blind

Chorus:
F C Am
The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
F C Am
You left me in the dark
F C Am
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
F C Am
In the shadow of your heart

Verse:
F C Am
And in the dark, I can hear your heartbeat
F C Am
I tried to find the sound
F C Am
But then it stopped, and I was in the darkness
F C Am
 So darkness I became

Chorus:
F C Am
The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
F C Am
You left me in the dark
F C Am
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
F C Am
In the shadow of your heart

Bridge:
G F
I took the stars from our eyes
G Am
 And then made a map
G F
And knew that somehow I could
G Am
 Find my way back
G F
Then I heard your heart beating
G Am
You were in the darkness too
G F Am
So I stayed in the darkness with you

Chorus -x2-:
F C Am
The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
F C Am
You left me in the dark
F C Am
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
F C Am
In the shadow of your heart

  1. Sara I use a ddu udu pattern and it works great. Also try and switch chords a little later than the music suggests.

  2. Do you know what the strumming pattern is?
