Intro: G D Em C

           G D
Skies are crying, I am watching

           Em C
Catching teardrops in my hands
        G D Em C
Only silence, as its ending, like we never had a chance.
         G D Em C
Do you have to make me feel like there’s nothing left of me?

                 G D
You can take everything I have
         Em C
You can break everything I am
                 G
Like I’m made of glass
                  D
Like I’m made of paper
           Em C
Go on and try to tear me down
           G D
I will be rising from the ground
            Em C
Like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper

       G
As the smoke clears
    D Em D
I awaken and untangle you from me
          G D Em C
Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed
         G D Em C
All my windows still are broken but I’m standing on my feet

             G D
You can take everything I have
               Em C
You can break everything I am
                   G
Like I’m made of glass
                   D
Like I’m made of paper
           Em C
Go on and try to tear me down
           G D
I will be rising from the ground
