5 ukulele chords used in "Spaceland" by chloe moriondo: Am7, Bm, C, Cm and Cmaj7

I love this song so much! I feel like it really describes how I feel in quarantine.
that riff at the beginning is just *chefs kiss* excellent
-5 if you cant play the Bm thing like me.
during the chorus i usually strum DDU, but hey, thats just me i guess lol
Pretty accurate, and I loooooove this song
if you want your cover to sound more like the original, you can use a pick instead of your thumb or index finger
so to replace Bm you can use Gmaj7 *basically d but move over to the strings near your legs* and instead of playing Am7 it sounds better to just play the riff.
im sad because of how relatable this is
OMG THE CHORDS ARE SOOOO EASY BUT THE STRUMMING PATTERN MAKES ME WANA DIE
Instead of just the chords, I like playing the opening riff on every line that has the Cmaj7, Am7, Bm progression. I also play the riff twice after each chorus. This sounds more true to the original to me.
I’m new to the ukelele and I don’t really understand what that starting part means before the lyrics. If it’s not too much trouble, could someone please simplify/explain it to me, thank you T^T
If this song was a person we’d be besties and I’d invite them round to my house to watch sad movies
in stead of a bm chord I recommend a am chord
