Intro -x2-: Am F C

Verse:
Am F C
Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand
Am F C
But I still need love cause I'm just a man
Am F C
These nights never seem to go to plan
Am F C
I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?

Chorus:
         Am F C
Won't you stay with me?
           Am F C
Cause you're all I need
          Am F C
This ain't love it's clear to see
   -G- Am F C
But darling, stay with me

Verse:
Am F C
Why am I so emotional?
Am F C
No it's not a good look, gain some self control
Am F C
And deep down I know this never works
Am F C
But you can lay with me so it doesn't hurt

Chorus -x3-:
         Am F C
Won't you stay with me?
           Am F C
Cause you're all I need
          Am F C
This ain't love it's clear to see
   -G- Am F C
But darling, stay with me

everyone is asking for a strumming pattern, but this song sounds really good just playing the chord once. you don’t necessarily have to strum this song because its kind of slow. I also have done a little strumming pattern where you strum down when the chord hits and then up right before the next chord.

Ukuboii

I honestly think that picking the chords over And over sounds better

Ally

I agree with you but after strumming every cord tap your ukulele, after the c chord do the same thing but four times! Hope this helps!

Nelly

This is so helpful for any one who plays the ukulele

Nelly

And it’s so easy and good for beginners

<3 I love this song

dhetfv

i have to do a project with this

Mariann

This song is so nice. The strumming that I use is just up and down.

gillian

guys try adding an extra C at the end of each line, it sounded really good to me:)

Ally

If you have it on the original page then you already add the C chord to the end of each line.

⬇️⬇️⬆️⬇️⬇️⬆️ Or D-DUD-DU,
Sounds weird on paper but I found it works great with the song

Stefan Batory

Double it on the last note

Dyedxo

For this song i strum once on the chord then knock the wood of the uke and after one sequence I knock it 3 times then start over if that makes any sense

dhetfv

it kinda dont

ur dad

it like *Am* *knock* *F* *knock* *C* *knock* *knock* *knock*

Katy

The g isn’t really necessary so it’s just am f c which is easy

thot destroyer

it sound good when you pluck all the strings once for each note and nock the wood after it
this is also a easy beginner song .

Nelly

Yeah really good beginner song
