5 ukulele chords used in "Gone Gone Gone" by Phillip Phillips: Cadd9, D, Dsus4, Em7 and G

Philip Philips for life
Amazing song
beautiful
+5 is the easiest one I could find
Instead of Cadd9, I did C. For now, I’m using D instead of Dsus4. idk what to do intstead of E7 bc it sounds weird. That just might be my uke tho.
I play it transposed to 0, it sounds really good. Just switch the Cadd9 with C to make it easier.
c is easier than Cadd9 as well
+5 steps sounds really nice
When it says i surrender honestly and give me a reason to believe i just do one strum for each chord
love this song
love this song! 🙂
What strumming pattern do I use?
When I play these chords, like the two long ones, it doesn’t sound right for me. Any recommendations
The lyric” You’re the POKES that I’ve always needed”
Is incorrect instead of “pokes” it should be “pulse”
what’s a good strum pattern?
** you can do -1, put on the capo on the first fret, and only do the fingerings for every note on all the other frets aside from the first one. this makes it way easier to play the chords 😉
-1 without a capo sounds more accurate, a bit more difficult though
-2 without a capo is good and a bit easier from -1 too, but not so accurate 🙂
This is great on -3
I think the Cm is easier to play than Cadd9. It sounds the same as Cadd9
Cadd9 is better played by holding the 2nd fret on the c string and the 3rd fret on the a string. The way this thing says it is just C Major.
