remember keys
       C
I have never loved someone
          F
The way I love you
       C
I have never seen a smile
     G
Like yours

           Em F
And if you grow up to be king, or clown, or pauper
       F G
I will say you are my favorite one in town

       C
I have never held a hand
            F
So soft and sacred
       C
When I hear you laugh I know
         G
Heaven's key

           Em F
And when I grow to be a poppy in the graveyard
       F G
I will send you all my love upon the breeze

    F G C Am
And if the breeze won't blow your way
F G C
I will be the sun

    F G C Am
And if the sun won't shine your way
F G C
I will be the rain

    F G Am
And if the rain won't wash away
F G C
All your aches and pains

F G C Am
I will find some other way
   F
To tell you
G C
"You're okay"

       F
You're okay
       C
You're okay
       F
You're okay
       C
You're okay
       F
You're okay
       G
You're okay

  1. I find in the Em, F, F, G chord, a Dm works much better than the second F! Also, for the end, I do F and Am instead of F and C and for the last two “you’re okay”s do G and C instead of F and G.

  2. If you want it to match the way she sings better, I find that capo on 2nd helps :)
