  1. Emily actually sings “A word a day when you’re far away” not “Oh what a day when you’re far away”, although the original lyrics are “A line a day when you’re far away’ as Joy says.

  2. I believe the lyrics you have as “Oh what a day when you’re far away” are actually, “A line a day when you’re far away.” Love the idea of doing this great old song with a uke!

    Hi, i like this song and think it would be great on the uke, but the chords are so confusing!! I have tried to transpose but they are no easier, someone please help!
