If you’re having trouble with playing the E, think of the top part (first finger on 4th string first fret; and second finger on 1st string second fret) as an inverted f chord. Like a backwards F. When you think of it that way, it’s easier to play. Now, all you have to do is add your third finger to the second string on the third fret. Hope this helps!
