Verse:
            F
a thousand times I've failed
            C G
Still your mercy remains
               F
And should I stumble again
           C G
Still I'm caught in your grace
     Am F C G
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
        Am F C G
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame

Interlude - x2 -: F---C--G

Verse:
            F C G
Your will above all else, my purpose remains
            F C G
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
   Am F C G
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
      Am F C G
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame

Pre-Chorus:
 F C Am
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
                      G
Consume me from the inside out Lord
 F C Am
Let justice and praise become my embrace
                        Dm
To love You from the inside out

Chorus - x2 -:
     Am F C G
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
      Am F C G
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
         C F G Am
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
           F G F G
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out

  1. thank you so much we play this song in band sometimes and now ill be able to play it in my new uke

  2. I love this site so much! THANK YOU for all you do! However, I am a beginner as I have only been playing a few weeks and without the strum patterns I cannot figure it out on my own. NO matter how many times I listen and ‘feel’ the rhythm.

Some songs I can google to find the strum pattern elsewhere, but most I cannot. I’m not understanding the copyright laws as so many on youtube show exactly the chords and strum patterns for all their tutorials. Why can they give them but you can’t? And is there another way you suggest I figure it out?

I have played along with all of your patterns on the guide very easily, but my brain being new to music, they still do not translate when I listen to most songs. Help!?

  3. Thank you so much.

  4. Thanks , my first Christian song… Praise the Lord.

  5. Thank you so so much! I looked this up last night and I can play it almost perfectly today. I’ve worked on it for no more than 30-40 mins. It sounds great!

Please do not ask for strumming patterns. Sharing online how to literally play a song (i.e. strumming, rhythm and tempo) is not allowed by the MPA (Music Publishers Association) because of copyright issues.

Carefully listen to the song and try to really "feel" the rhythm. Once you get the basics of strumming, I can assure you it'll go real quick. Maybe the strumming guide can help you on your way.
