Intro: Gbm B Gbm B E

  E E6
I know I stand in line until you
E E6 Gbm B Gbm B
think you have the time to spend an evening with me
    Gbm B Gbm B
And if we go someplace to dance I know that there's a chance
	     E E6 E E6
you won't be leaving with me
    E E9 E E9
And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place
	   Am6 Am
And have a drink or two
    Gbm B Gbm B
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid
       E	E6 E E6
like I love you
      E E9 E E9
I can see it in your eyes that you despise the same old lines
	      Am6
you heard the night before
    Gb
And though it's just a line to you for me it's true
		    B
and never seemed so right before
  E E6 E E6
I practice everyday to find some clever lines to say
	    Gbm B Gbm B
to make the meaning come true
    Gbm B Gbm B
But then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late
	E E6 E E6
And I'm alone with you
    E E9 E E9
The time is right your perfume fills my head the stars get red
	   Am6 Am
and on the nights so blue
    Gbm B Gbm B
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid
       E	E6 E E6
like I love you

Solo:
E E6 E E6 Gbm B Gbm B
Gbm B Gbm B E E6 E E6

    E E9 E E9
The time is right your perfume fills my head the stars get red
	   Am6 Am
and on the nights so blue
    Gbm B Gbm B
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid
       E	Am6
like I love you
  E Am
I love you
  E Am
I love you

  1. +3 and G7 instead of G9 (simplified)

  2. Dont be fooled by the E chord, if you play the other way(4442) you just have to move a finger(i do it with the three previous fingers) between the changes in E – E6.
Also in this kind of lines
    E E9 E E9
And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place…

Its not E, its E7(1202), and again the change of chords is just one finger.

  3. Instead of Am6 its A and instead of Am its C. If you make the changes then the song its perfect!!!

  4. it’s a lot easier on -4 :)
