7 ukulele chords used in "Mawce" by Everybody's Worried About Owen: A, B, Eb, Ebm, E, Em and Abm

i love this song so much 😀
btw +1 is easier and you could substitute E for Em
Yay, I suggested this song!! <3
I play it as
Bb, D, Gm, Eb
Bb, Dm, Gm, Eb
throughout the entire song, but for the first two verses i put the fret fingers in the placement for the chords and just pick the three strings closest to me in an outward pattern, if that makes any sense
and for the strumming pattern i use D-UDUD-UDUD-UDUD-UDUD, but the first D is only for if you start up the strumming again
The missing lyric is “eighty-four-five”. It’s an area code in New York State.
i love doing this song. i feel like this is one of those songs where you can just pour your entire heart and soul into the music and i just gain sooo much confidence when singing it, its amazing!
It’s a bit easier to play(and more accurate to how they play the song) if you use the same shape for the “B” and “Eb” chords.
You can hear them slide up from B(fret 2) to Eb(fret 6) in the recording as opposed to changing chord shapes downwards.
i use DDU once per chord for the verses 🙂
+1 is easy and you can possibly use Em in place of E
