remember keys
          Bbm F
There are few who'd deny
          Db Gm
At what I do I am the best
       Gb F Ebm
For my talents are renowned far and wide
        C Db
When it comes to suprises
     C Ebm
On a moonlit night
    C7 F7
I excel without ever even trying

         Ebm Bb7
With the slightest little effort
      Ebm F
Of my ghost like charms
       Ebm E
I have seen grown men give out a shriek
         Ab Ebm
With the wave of my hand
      Bb7 Ebm
And a well placed moan
                      Bb7 Ebm
I have swept the very bravest off their feet

    Bb7 Bm
Yet year after year
         E Eb
It's the same routine
      Bb
And I grow so weary
       Eb Bb7
Of the sound of screams
    Gb
And I
Ebm
JACK THE PUMPKIN KING
     B7 Bb7 Gb
Have grown so tired of the same
Eb
old
Bb
thing

   Eb Gm A7 Em
Oh somewhere deep inside of these bones
   Am Em Am Em
An emptiness began to grow
        Eb Gm A Em
There's something out there far from my home
  Am Em B7 Em6
a longing that I've never known

      Em B G Dbm
I'm a master of fright and a demon of light
         C B Am
And I'll scare you right out of your pants
     Gb G Gb Am
To a guy in Kentucky, I'm Mister Unlucky
        Gb7 B
And I'm known throughout England and France

    Am B Am D
And since I am dead, I can take off my head
     Am Bb
To recite Shakesperean quotations
   D Am E7 Am
No animal nor man can SCREAM like I can
                    E7 Am
With the fury of my recitations

    E7 Fm Bb A
But who here would ever understand
         E7 Am E7
That the Pumpkin King with the skeleton grin
      C Am Gbm
Would tire of his crown, If they only
Db7 Gbm
understood
     D7 Db7 Gbm D
He'd give it all up, if he only
Db Db
could....

   F Am B7 Gbm
Oh theres an empty place in my bones
     Bm Gbm Bm Gbm
That calls out for something unknown
    F Am B Gbm
The fame and praise come year after year
     Bm Gbm Db7 Gbm
Does nothing for these empty tears...

  1. -1 is only easier for the first quarter or so of the song but gives you a much harder time for the rest, resulting in chords I’ve never needed anywhere else. I’d say, stick to 0 and cope with only a few less common chords (for me, those were Db7, Ebm, Gb, Dbm, Em6 – the last two being pretty simple fortunately)!

well my fingers are dead but I somehow managed -1 is def easier than the original

  3. def not trying this anytime soon just bc of the chords

  4. jeez, how many chords????

  5. Skullcomet

My fingers have lost feeling, but I can now strum through in a mediocre fashion.
