Verse:
Am
I threw a wish in the well,
F
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
C G
I looked to you as it fell,

and now you're in my way

Verse:
Am
I trade my soul for a wish,
F
pennies and dimes for a kiss
C G
I wasn't looking for this,

but now you're in my way

Pre-Chorus:
Am
Your stare was holdin',
F
Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
C
Hot night, wind was blowin'
G
Where you think you're going, baby?

Am C - 1 strum - G G - 2 strums -
Hey, I just met you,
                   Am F F
and this is crazy,
                      C G G
but here's my number,

so call me, maybe?

Am C G G
It's hard to look right,
             Am F F
at you baby,
                      C G G
but here's my number,

You took your time with the call,
F
I took no time with the fall

You gave me nothing at all,

but still, you're in my way

Verse:
Am
I beg, and borrow and steal

C G
I didn't know I would feel it,

I finaly got the song and the struming right!

  13. i just cant scroll down fast enough

  14. It’s pretty simple, sounds much better than the pop song, just with the ukelele sounds fab.

  15. I learnt to play this g, emi, c, d(?)
    which sounds better imo

  16. Song isn’t that easy to play imo, but I play it like this:
–> Intro and verses: simple down strums
–> Chorus: where you have for example C G G, one down strum for the C and then 1 up strum for each G.

Listen to the song to get the rhythm right ;-)
