3 ukulele chords used in "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley: A, D and E

I like jelly donuts
The chords on the verse are wrong. I agree with Tony Watterson on the chords and please fix them. If you are a complete beginner and have seen that Three Little Birds is an easy song, transpose the song by +3.
In the verse I would say it is: A E A D A E D A 🙂
It sounds nice but yeah I think E is weird.
The chords on the verse are wrong. Please listen to the track and try again. I foolishly printed this out for a student without proof reading it.
How do I play E and also what is a riff I am new to the ukulele and I am still learning
Hi thanks for the tabs. I was wondering what does the curvy symbol in the intro and outro mean.
Standard Reggae – D-UDU-D .. D-UDU-D ..
or if you prefer to use the standardized alternating pattern – D-UDU-D .. U-DUD-U .. D-UDU-D .. U-DUD-U .. etc.
Alternative “e major” chord helps this sound nicer… 1st finger on 2nd fret for top string, others on 4th fret. It’s a personal thing!
Alternate intro riff. Play around with the timing and the hammer ons and pull offs.
Riff:
xA|-0-2-0-7-4-2-0——–|
xE|———————–|
xC|———————–|
xG|———————–|
I got this from a video by TenThumbs Productions on Youtube.
Yeah the chords are messed up and it won’t let me give it a review less 4 stars also the screen scrolls down when I don’t need it to automatically
I am a duck who plays ukulele
I personally think that it was skibibi rizzler
E should be E7
What’s the strumming pattern though?
This tab is badly wrong – lots of mistakes. I have written out the correct chords if anyone is interested
you can just lightly do DDDD especially if you’re a beginner
Swap out E for G (2,1,3) and the song sounds better. G is also easier to play then E…
Three little birds sit by my doorstep
Not pitch
And the chorus/refrain looks like you don’t when strumming the D but you do.
Pretty close
Also, this song isn’t played with open chords so using a higher postion on the neck for all three cords will sound more “aithentic”
Thanks and have fun strumming!
I agree with James.
