HERE IS A TIP USE A KAPO ON THE FIRST FRET

Izzytrevino0

I use it on the second feet to sound more like the song

scar

puta happy face to this song and leave a good comment if you liked this song

_x_mc_x_ is my tiktok go follow me

Use C, Cmaj7, Am, F
” (C) Don’t stay awake for too long, (Cmaj7) Don’t go to bed, (Am) I’ll make a cup of coffee for your head, (F) I’ll get you up and going out of bed.” – This song

Michaela

What do you do for the other part? Do you stay on the same pattern or do you stick with what they have?

Cayden Buck

i like staying on the same pattern because it makes it more simple and easier to understand.

bengal

You can use the same 4 chords for the whole song. It doesn’t change at all.

elle

How do you play a Cmaj7?

Original comment

Second fret 4th string.

Tyler

I think it is 0 0 0 2 or 2nd fret A (1st) string

bengal

The C chord is located on the 1st string of the 3rd fret. The Cmaj7 is on the 1st string of the 2nd fret (above the C chord.). The C7 chord is on the 1st string of the 1st fret. Hope this helps.

bengal

Edit: A is on the bottom, and I use it as the first string (personally)

Cabi_net

Thank you!! Being a beginner this makes it a lot easier to play. It also sounds a bit better. Thank you!

Mimi

beginner

hi can somebody pls help me? :) i don’t have any idea what that dudududu means that your all talking about. can somebody explain? sry if im being dummyy.

Shreya Virdee

‘D’ and ‘U’ are shorthands for ‘down’ and ‘up’, it’s for strumming. For example, if you had a simple island strum (down, down, up, up, down, up), you would write it as DDUUDU.

Hope this helps! :)

The CringeTuber

I think a simpler pattern is DDUDU but thats probably just me

soyeahthatisreallycool

ISLAND STRUM! thats a bit stereotypical :/

coni

I play it with a chuck so DXUUXU

Phi_is_a_bee

D means you strum down and U means you strum up. So DDUUDU means downstrum-downstrum-up strum-up strum- down strum- up strum. :] oh and by the way DDUUDU is called the island strum.

Emma Nelson

Its the strumming pattern. D means strum down and U means to strum up.

Julissa

Yes ‘D’means to go down and ‘U’ to go up

luna

it’s the strumming pattern! (down, up, down, up, and so on)

Julissa

No, you can do DDUUDU or DDUDU

Helpity help

Every1 is right about the down up stuff but an important note is that ‘d’ is on the beat and ‘u’ is off the beat. On the counting 1&2&3&4& with the numbers being ‘d’ and the &s being ‘u’. Example: ddu udu would be 1 2& &4& . Example: dudududu would be 1&2&3&4& . Example: ddddu would be 1 2 3 4&

tori

its the strumming pattern :)

Laura

It means down, up, down, up, down, up and so on meaning that each letter stands for the first letter in the word and it’s the strumming pattern

Jam

Are you talking about the name of the singers?

Madison

D=strum down U=strum up

riley

it means down up down up down up as in the strumming pattern which direction ur strumming

Nikki Huang

Where’s the dudududu??? I didn’t see it

makinley slat

No it is ok! This confused me also. D= one strum down and U= one strum up!

C e l e s t e ~~~

It is the strum Pattern d is for down and u is for up

(basically the strum pattern for this song)

what is up children

whenever i play this song,it reminds me of Fred Wesleys death.(Yes ima harry potter nerd 😒) Deal with it

YourHufflebuddy

This song is like a memorial for all the deaths in HP. #Potterheads

Jeidi

i prefer the chord progression C, Cmaj7, F, Fm. So basically i just replace the Em with Cmaj7
