helpidkwheretofindfingerpickingversions

TYSM IT SOUNDS SO GOODDDD

broskii69

after the 7th fret, you get it mixed up but thats okay, i fixed it. (keep in mind this is after 7th fret)
A: 3 5 3 2 0 2 then, you change it to the C string since the A string cant go any lower
C: 4
it should sound pretty nice tho :)))))

annabelle

this is perfect! i finished the verse:
A: 353202 (squeeze me oh so tight, show)
C: 4 (me)
A: 320 (show me that)
E: 3253 (you love me too)
hope this helps :)

Hafi

by the way, it’s actually fine for me, it just doesn’t go with the lyrics, more like the vocals where the singer goes ‘hAaHaA’ idk T-T but tq :> <3

dflah10

I also find doing a slide from the 3rd fret to the 5th fret in the begining makes it sound awesome.

Padmaja

I don;t understand the chords that change at the end. They sound odd when transposed to +3 and at 0.

aaliyah

it’s because there’s a key change

my heart went oops!

another picking pattern that works well is your thumb and pointer pick the two outside strings ( a and g) at the same time then your thumb picks the two middle strings ( e and c) one after the other. do this pattern twice then swap to the next chord apart from the end of the verse when you only do it once. ex;
Am D G Em
1 2 3 1 2 3 swap 1 2 3 1 23 swap 123123 swap 123123
squeeze me oh so tight, show me,
Am D G C G
swap123123 swap123123swap 123 swap 123 swap 123
that you love me too.

guys I spent so long on this!! hope it helps, sorry if its a bit confusing!! x

Lala

I liked using a DDUUDU strum (once per chord except in some spots).

annabelle

i use ddu for the strumming but for the first line where it says “[G] put your head on my [Em] shoulder” i like to use “[N.C.] put your head on my [G] shoul.. [Em] ..der” and i just think it sounds nicer and is a nice way to ease into the strumming

spook

-7 is easie for beginners

Mariechelle Oria

What’s the strumming pattern please?❤

curly.cassidy

If this key is to low for you, try +5 it’s easy and higher

Dink

Whats the strum pattern?

FletcherEJL

Hey Everyone,

I found strumming doesn’t give the proper vibe for this song. I suggest picking:
use thumb for top string, pointer finger for next, middle finger for second lowest and ring finger for bottom.
Basically do this; pick one string at a time starting at the bottom string going up the bottom 3 strings and do that twice for each chord then change and do it again. super easy and fun to learn, I also personally suggest using your thumb to pick at the beginning of each chord with your ring finger.
SO DO THIS for each chord:
thumb and ring – middle – pointer – ring – middle – pointer. next chord then start again.

Apple

Oh my! I’ve been confused about learning how to pick, but your description allowed me to learn how to properly do it in few minutes! Thank you!
