5 ukulele chords used in "Holland 1945" by Neutral Milk Hotel: A, B, C, D and G

The last verse sounds odd to my ear, I’ve been doing G / A mi / G / C instead of G / A / B / C. Just in case that helps anyone.
i love neutral milk hotel they r so underrated
For the first line of the last verse, I believe the first three chords are all G, but with extra notes, ‘A’, then ‘B’ added before the C chord.
This is easy to do by laying the 2nd finger flat to cover the D and B in the first G chord, then sliding it up to hit the A on the G-string in the second chord, then sliding it back down and hitting the B on teh G-string with the 4th finger, then playing C with the 3rd finger.
I really like the strumming pattern DDU UDU for this song
For the first line of the last verse, the first three chords stay as G, I think, but add extra notes: G, G+’A’ (2), G+’B’ (3), C. This is easy to do by laying your second finger flat to cover the D and B in the first G chord, then sliding it up to also cover the A on the G-string for the second chord, then sliding it back down while hitting the B with the 4th finger, then playing C with the 3rd finger.
