Mademoiselle K is a French guitarist and song writer, whose real name is Katerine Gierak. Mademoiselle K has been playing guitar since the age of eight. She is open to all kinds of musical influence and is classically trained as well as appreciating rock and jazz.
Mademoiselle K took up music professionally after failing her exams to be a teacher. She paid her dues by gigging with various bands for 50 euros a night and sometimes for free.
In 2007, her first studio album, Ca Me Vexe was released on EMI.
