Intro -x2-: Db Gb Db Ab

Verse:
           Db Gb
I close my eyes, threw back the curtain
             Db Ab
To see for certain, what I thought I knew
         Db Gb
Far far away, someone was weeping
                   Db
But the world was sleeping
               Ab
Any dream will do

Verse:
                Db Gb
I wore my coat -I wore my coat- with golden lining
               Db Ab
Bright colours shining, wonderful and new
                 Db Gb
And in the east -And in the east- the dawn was breaking
                 Db
And the world was waking
              Ab
Any dream will do

Chorus:
Gb
a crash of drums, a flash of light
Ab
My golden coat flew out of sight
Db
Colours faded into darkness
Ab Gb
I was left alone

Verse:
               Db Gb
May I return, -May I return- to the beginning
             Db Ab
The light is dimming and the dream is to
                  Db Gb
The world and I, -The world and I- we are still waiting
           Db Ab
Still hesitating, Any dream will do

Interlude: -instrumental Verse-

Chorus:
Gb
a crash of drums, a flash of light

My golden coat flew out of sight

I was left alone

Verse:
               Db Gb

  1. +1 is super easy, u could also use -4 or -1 if you have a high voice

  2. Somebody changed the cords so now it sounds wrong

  3. I find that putting this song down a semitone and adding a capo on fret 1 makes it much easier to play.
